The Jeans Fit! #20to25Challenge

While I was in Dubai I picked up a pair of slightly distressed jeans (aka with rips on the knee) in a size smaller than I was at the time. They fit, but they were tight. The highlight of my week was trying them on again and having them fit like a glove. I don't know if it's all in my head, but I feel lighter. My stupid scale broke so I'm not sure how accurate it is anymore. Either way, whatever the number is, I feel better and that's my greater objective with this challenge anyway so I'm happy. 

My food diary highlights of the week:

1) Quinoa Booster Salad from Deek Duke: if I could eat one thing for the rest of my life (that's not pizza) it would be this. I don't know what it is about this salad, but I've ordered it pretty much every Friday (delivery day) for the past six months. I need to recreate it at home one day, it seems easy to make, I'm just worried I won't get the raspberry sauce right. 

2) Taco's at Taqueria Del Jefe in Gemmayze: I had a tiny pork taco, some nachos with fresh guac, and a spoon of Mexican corn. This was supposed to be a full on cheat meal, but the night didn't turn out the way I thought it would :P

3) Indian Night with friends: we made Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala, they were both HEAVENLY. Seriously, we should open a restaurant. We make better food than most establishments!

4) Raspberries: I love making oats with raspberries for breakfast. I used to get frozen bags from Spinneys Hazmieh, but for the last 2 months or so they never seem to have it in stock. I checked other supermarkets near by and I couldn't find any either. I found fresh ones at Aziz, the box was expensive at 11,000 LL but I really wanted raspberries. Maybe I should check out this Toot Berry Farms brand everyone keeps talking about... 

Goals from last week:
-Meet new step goal (7K) steps every day: check (17 K more steps this week!)
-Hit the gym twice: check
-Outdoor activity with friends: plans fell through... 

Goals for this week:
-No alcohol 
-Hit the gym thrice: 
-Drink more water 

Weight lost:
