10 Beauty Products Under $10

I don't want to even calculate the amount of money I spend on makeup in a year. I'm aware that I have a problem, I spend hundreds of dollars in exchange for a bright pink lipstick that's ever so slightly different shade from the other ten bright pink lipsticks I already own. The good thing though is that I don't particularly limit my purchases to high end and expensive makeup, so I get to test out a lot of affordable makeup as well. It's a little tough to find decent makeup that's also decently priced in Lebanon since a lot of items are up to four times their original price in the states. I thought it would be fun to share some underrated but super affordable beauty products that you can find at most Lebanese supermarkets, beauty counters or pharmacies that are actually pretty good!

**Please note that the prices might differ from one store to another**

I've talked about this collection over and over and over again on the blog, I think you get the point now that it's flipping awesome! The color selection is awesome, the pigmentation is amazing, and if you haven't tried it you're missing out.

- Garnier BB Cream: 15,000 LL
Holy grail everyday "foundation", I have repurchased this approximately 4 times and have made my mom, aunt and friends try it out as well, and they loved it! You don't get a ton of coverage, but it's perfect to cover up the main flaws for a quickly everyday look.

-Maybelline Affinitone Foundation 14,000 LL
Proper foundations are very hard to find at an affordable price, I had to do a double take when I saw the price tag of this awesome foundation from Maybelline. This is a very lightweight foundation with a light to medium coverage and a satin finish. It's not very long lasting and is not very oily skin friendly, I definitely can't use this in summer when I get pretty oily but it does a good job in winter. I recommend topping up with a powder, just to keep the oiliness in check.

- Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free Cake Powder: 10,250 LL
This was at a tie with Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder (around 12,000 LL), which I also highly recommend, I picked this one over it though because it gives a hint more coverage than the Rimmel one. It also has SPF 25 to protect your skin from harsh UV rays, but unfortunately, this means it's not very great for flash photography.

- Samoa Catwalk Liquid Liner. 14,000 LL
This was one of the first liquid liners I ever tried out, and I remember loving it. I repurchased it recently and fell back in love. It's very easy to use, even for a liquid eyeliner newbie like me, it's very opaque and lasts all day long.

- Samoa Silky Eye shadow Stick 13,000 LL
I use this product on its own for a hint of quick color on the lids and also as an eye shadow primer. It is great for smokey eyes because it's easy to apply and very easy to blend. The color selection is very impressive, I own two shades and I'm very happy with them. The only annoying this is sharpening them because you need a sharpener for big eye pencils.

- Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish: 4,500 LL
These are one of my all time favorite nail polishes ever. Most of the colors I've tried have been very opaque and lasted a long time. The only downside is that we don't get the full-color range and new releases in Lebanon...

- Samoa Top Coat 4,000 LL
I tried this out after Rasha from Rasha's Choice posted a pic on Instagram an said it was better than my holy grail top coat, Seche Vite. I have to say that it's not better, but it's definitely as good as, and at a fraction of the price it's a great and affordable alternative to try out at only 4,000LL. It's also available in a matte version, but I wouldn't recommend it because I used it twice and it chipped just a couple of hours later both times... maybe it didn't agree with my base polish, but I wouldn't repurchase it.

- St. Ives Apricot Scrub 11,000 LL
I've been using this product since before I was this into beauty and makeup. It's a great facial scrub that really removes all that ickiness, it's also a great body scrub that leaves your skin feeling super soft. If you have some body-acne then you should try this product out because it has salicylic acid which would help tone down the acne.

- The Body Shop Hand Cream Pink Grapefruit 10,000 LL
The Body Shop makes awesome hand creams, and their new(ish) collection of hand creams are awesome. My favorite scent is Pink Grapefruit, very refreshing. The product is moisturizing but not greasy and always present in one of my handbags.

  1. loving those little tips!!
ur making me shop more :D :P

    1. Yeay glad you like them :)
hahaha I have the same problem with myself :P

  2. Loved this list! want to try out all of the ones I don't have yet.

But a question: since you mentioned the samoa eyeliner, I'm curious how do you manage to get it off at the end of the day? I own two different shades of it and it just gives me the roughest time ever when I take my makeup off! (I rub and rub and rub and it doesn't go off!)

    1. I mainly use a miscella water to remove the huge bulk of my makeup (especially eye makeup) and the one I use (forgot the name- but it's similar to Bioderma) removes waterproof makeup really well. Then I wash the rest of my face with an oil cleanser. I shall do a detailed post next week and mention all the products! :)

  3. I go crazy over budget beauty products hehe Tempted to check out a few of those :)

    1. You definitely should! Let me know if you have any recommendations :D

  4. Great choices!
I also use the Garnier BB Cream for my everyday make up! It's really good!
