2015 Blogging Resolutions

[2015 Diary from Paperchase

Oh how time flies! I feel like it was just last week that I was writing my end of year post of 2013 and setting up my goals/resolutions for 2014. Alas, the time has come for us to be all cliche and reflect on the year that has passed, and look at the year ahead again. I wish that this feeling of determination to make positive changes would actually stay all year long and not fade away! Anyway, here's the list of things that I hope to achieve in 2015...

Be more consistent: I need to start posting at least twice a week. No more two weeks of silence!

Explore new types of posts: I've dabbled into more beauty related posts this year and I got a ton of positive feedback which was very encouraging. I want to explore more beauty related posts and possibly try new categories that I (and you guys) might be interested in.

Vlog: I uploaded some videos earlier in the year on my YouTUBE channel, then I ended up getting a nail art show on Duniati, and finally I got to upload my first vlog of my trip to Dubai. I've enjoyed doing all three, but I think vlogging has been the funnest so I want to do more of that.

Collaborate with bloggers: Maya, I'm talking to you! Playing With Fashion and I have discussed this 100 times but we never seem to go through with the plan of collaborating. It will happen this year, promise. The offer is open to all bloggers though, hola at me if you want to do something together!

Be Myself: This has been my objective since the beginning of the blog and I like to remind myself of it every once in a while. With so many blogs popping up everywhere it gets a little overwhelming to try and find your place in the blogosphere which is why you need to be you.

What are your resolutions for 2015?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

  1. Being yourself is the best and hardest step out there. You're right, there are so many other blogs that you find you're exactly the same or totally messed up, and it's hard to find your perfect place. I'm working on that in the New Year =-)

    1. Exactly! You need to kind of forget everyone else and just focus on you and being true to yourself :) Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way <3

  2. Love this post!
Expecially the 'Be Myself' part. This is so true and I think so many people get washed up in the blogging world trying to 'beat' others. but you just have to remember your doing this because you love it! Not becasue you want to beat someone but beacause you want to support them!

  3. I have to agree .. be yourself - is the best blogging advice out there. When I started, I tried to be more stylish, but really I'm just a casual gal.
