My favorite season eva eva eva is FALL! I'm really attracted to the layered clothing look, the dark colors, and that little chill in the air. The only down side is that it gets dark outside really quickly and when I leave work at 5 it feels like it's 9pm. Anyway, back to why I love fall. One of my favorite things about this season is the dark nail polishes. I've noticed a pattern with the colors that I like to wear in fall/winter so I thought I'd share my top five nail polish picks for fall.

The Classic: Burgundy "Raspberry" by Barry M and "We'll Always Have Paris" by OPI
Whether you're in your teens, twenties, thirties, forties or whatever-ies this color looks chic and classic on all ages. It warm enough to add color to your look but dark enough to stay consistent with fall wardrobes.

The Funky: Teal "31" by Mona and "Go Overboard" by Essie
The green/blue nail polish family is my kryptonite, there's something that's so attractive to me about it. I have go-to hues for every season and for the colder months I definitely like to go dark teal.

The Metallic: Gold "2030 by China Glaze" and "Gold Rush" by Sally Hansen
Old might not be to everyone's taste but I love me some gold for days that I want something funky but can't be bothered to do some nail art. If I want a more funky choice (and accent the fact that I would have to remove a glitter polish later), I love going for Gold Rush on top of 2030 or a black polish.
The Almost Black: Navy "Russian Navy by OPI" and "Midnight Blue" by Samoa
Hands down one of my favorite nail polishes every created, this is one of my go-to colors for fall. It's very dark but it's not black, for those days when I'm feeling a bit emo but not full on emo. Ya know?
|Maybelline Black Out [image source]|
The Black: Black "Blackout by Maybelline" and "Black" by Barry M
A staple in my collection for all the seasons. I'm currently loving the one by Maybelline, it's really opaque and rarely needs a second coat to get that true black color.
