You know when someone does something super shady to you and you want to punch them in the face with all your statement rings on, but at the same time you also want to stay in your room and cry? Yes? Well, I was in that sort of mood this weekend. Once I was done feeling like crap though I decided to take that negativity and turn it into motivation for change. I did something super girly and cliche, I changed my hair. I've always been super scared to play around with the color of my hair because I have very fine and sparse hair. The only time that I actually did properly dye my hair was a couple of months ago at the L'Oreal "Beauty For Life" event where I got red low lights. This time though I was interested in something a little more dramatic that included my whole head and not just a couple of strands. While walking through the hair dye isle with my friend, I picked up a bottle of L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss. My friend had tried it out and told me that it's a semi-permanent dye (conditioning color) that is ammonia free and lasts up to 28 washes. As some of you might be aware by now, I have a thing for red hair, whether it's carrot top orange or bright bottle red, I lurve it. So naturally I picked up the reddest share which was "565 Berry Red". It was SUPER easy to use and I loved the super shiny results. Since my hair is naturally dark brown, the red on top was not very bright, but now it has some red depth to it and it also looks fantastic in the sun. If you're looking to spice up your hair and want to do something at home that is easy and very wallet friendly, I highly recommend checking out the L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss range!
Have you ever changed your hair randomly because you were feeling icky?
