When it comes to summer outfits, I sometimes get a little lazy and un-creative. My lack of motivation when it comes to getting dressed in the morning can be blamed on the heat, humidity and lack of sleep from staying up late to watch the World Cup games. (GO GERMANY!!!) The good thing about summer though is that you can wear dresses that make it seem like you made an effort in the morning. Add a statement necklace to the mix, tie that hair up in a bun and voila! You look very presentable... (or so I hope).
I picked up this specific dress from H&M earlier this week after I ended up at the mall due to a horrible day that needed to be fixed with a bit of retail therapy. I lurves all them blues coming together in this weird abstract tie-dye ish print! The matchy matchy orange also gives the outfit a little lift, don't you agree?
On another note, do you guys like my new statement necklace obsession? I picked it up while I was at the Jim Beam Rocks Music Festival on Friday from a brand called Cherry Perry. The jewelry is made by the super sweet designer Rytta Boustani, I highly recommend checking out her pieces... especially if you like Edgar Allan Poe!
What's your go-to summer lazy outfit?
