As much as I love me some nail art, I feel like country nails for the world cup are a little too much... especially when it's not your country playing. But I really felt like trying out some form of FIFA nails this weekend, and I ended up with this pretty simple Germany design. It's not the best design and best result, because my white polish had gotten a little lumpy but it will do for tonight's big Germany Versus. Brazil game! (GOOO GERMANY).
What I used: Sally Hansen "White Out", Seventeen "Yellow", China Glaze "Revolution", Samoa "Black", Seventeen Base Coat, Seche Vite Top Coat.
- Apply your base coat, followed by a white polish to be used as your color base.
- With a fine art brush make little strokes on the corner of your nail using yellow (or whatever country color you want).
- Repeat the process with the other colors (red, black) until you have made your flag.
- Wait for everything to dry and apply your favorite top coat.
TIP: Go from the lightest shade to the darkest shade in order to avoid messed up colors, also make sure to use nail polish remover between each color.
Who are you with tonight?
