AM to PM

Like many responsible adults, I have a job to go to every Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. It's annoying, I know, but you gotta make some money to buy shoes and makeup (duh). A lot of times during the work week, I end up having somewhere to go to after work (whether it's drinks with friends or colleagues, or a proper event somewhere). Whenever I know that I have somewhere a bit "fancy" to go to after work, I make sure that I'm wearing an outfit that can easily go from day to night without having to go home and change. Traffic is a bitch, and you shouldn't spend useless time on the road. The easiest way to transform a look is to put on a pair of heels and slap on a bright lipstick. This is the outfit I wore to work on Monday- a day that requires comfortable clothing and a strong cup of coffee. My go-to comfortable pajama pants as I like to call them, with a simple black tank top, studded chambray shirt, and black sandals. After work, I had a dinner to go to with some friends. Even though the restaurant we went to was not particularly fancy, I still felt like spicing things up so I switched my flat sandals for my favorite block heeled Zara ones, put on lipstick and switched my gigantic handbag for a bright small cross body. A comfortable look that didn't take much effort, but still looks chic!

How do you like to transform your looks from am to pm?

PS. 10 points to Gryffindor if you too have Christina Millian's "Am to PM" song stuck in your head.
