The Body Shop (mini) Haul

I'm a sucker for sales. Even though I know it's a marketing thing to push sales, and most of the time the consumer ends up spending more money(per shopping spree). I know, I know. BUT, I lurves them. Yes, you might end up spending more but you end up getting a bunch of different products for the price of just one or two.
One of my favorite sales to hit up is the Body Shop summer sale, I tend to go a little coocoo. When I passed by City Center, I knew there were a couple of products that I NEEDED to get (a scrub, a body butter, and the Camomile Cleansing Oil).. but I ended up getting a bit more than that (also they didn't have the cleansing oil). 50 bucks spent, and a big smile on my face later... here's what I walked away with!

Lychee Blossom Body butter and Lychee Blossom Body Mist
This is quickly becoming my "go to" summer scent. The body butter, just like all the other Body Shop body butters, is super smooth and makes your skin feeling fabulous. The matching body mist is great to carry around in your handbag because it's small and the bottle is plastic. The scent is sweet, slightly fruity but refreshing.

Brazilian Nut Body Scrub
I'm obsessed with body scrubs. I go through them really quickly since I use them two to three times a week. This was my second experience with a body shop scrub, and I have to say I'm quiet impressed. After you use it your skin is SO smooth, but the best part is that the smoothness LASTS! (especially when paired with the body butter).

Pink Grapefruit Hand Cleanse Gel
My favorite anti bacterial hand cleanser ever! The scent is just like the Pink Grapefruit body spray. Super fresh and grapefruity... nothing much to say except for I love it.

Aloe Soothing Day Cream for Sensitive Skin
I've been looking for a soothing daily moisturizer since my face got a little burnt after a laser treatment (AH, i don't want to talk about it...). Aloe vera is the best thing for burnt skin so I thought this would be a great option for me. I've been using it for a couple of days now, and I like it, but it's a bit on the greasy side since it's SUPER moisturizing. Will keep you posted on how I really feel about it soon!

Seaweed Face Mask, Tea Tree Face Mask
As I was heading to the checkout counter these masks caught my eye, they were only $2 so I added them to my basket. I've never tried out the Seaweed line by the Body Shop but I'm a BIG fan of their Tea Tree collection (having tried out 80% of the products). Still haven't used these babies so I will keep you posted!

  1. My sister and I do exactly the same; we wait for the sale and get our essentials (body wash and butter mostly) but ever since Bath &Body Works opened in Leb, I stopped and shifted! I still buy the aloe lip balm; bible it's DA best!

    L, xo.

    1. I shall try out the lip balm! I like Bath & body works but their scents are little too sugary.. I do enjoy their candles though <3

  2. OMGG I lovee the body shop but its been like ages I haven't bought anything from them! But the sales are a good excuse, I wanna get the almond cream for the hands *_*

    1. I love them! I haven't tried their hand creams yet, but I've heard good things about their almond cream...
