Event: Superdry at Beirut Souks

Last last week I attended the Superdry event at their newish store in Beirut Souks hosted by Gavin Ford from Radio One. This was hands down one of my favorite events I have attended in all my years of blogging (I sound like a grandma... let's just go with it) it was so much fun! Gavin, we're on a first name basis, got things started by introducing us to the British brand inspired by a trip to Tokyo, Japan. He was followed by a representative from the brand, who went into more detail about the inspiration behind the young brand which opened its first store in 2004. The brand is a very chill, offering customers all sorts of casual wear which is comfortable and stylish. The store is always full of really cool Japanese inspired graphic tees and hoodies along with funky jeans and accessories - ranging from iPhone cases to headphones. Superdry's "break-through" moment came when football star David Beckham was spotted wearing a graphic tee from the British brand causing the brand to gain popularity in the UK.

A mini fashion show followed the introduction, showcasing items from the new spring collection. After that, it was time for games! I was first of the bloggers chosen for a game and I had to say "I luhv suu-peh-dry" in a lovely British accent, challenge accepted... challenge accomplished and I won bright pink headphones (which you've seen already if you follow me on instagram). The highlight of the night though were these adorable cupcakes with the union jack and the Japanese flag on them, unfortunately I couldn't eat them because I was fasting off chocolate at the time.

So tell me, do you LUHV SUPERDRY ???
