Red Carpet: The Oscars 2013

Jenna Dewan in Rachel Roy

Raise your hand if you had no idea that Jenna Dewan was preggers. *raises hand* When did this happen?? Channing Tatem is going to be a dad!? woah. Back to the gown. She looks lovely! I have a thing for black lace so I approve. My favorite part s the hair+makeup+earrings.

Sandra Bullock in Elie Saab

Another black number, this time by one of my all time favorite designers and worn by one of my all time favorite actresses. The gown is gorgeous, noone does these types of gowns quiet like Elie Saab (please make my wedding dress?). Sexy but subtle. My only slight problem is the hair... it's so blah.

Kristen Stewart in Reem Acra

I can't stop staring at her hair. It looks like she had gotten it done but then fell asleep and didn't have time for a touch up. Stewart these are the OSCARS sweety, the AH-SKRZ, fix it! The gown is meh, I don't hate it but those tull thingies sticking out at the sides are odd... I didn't find a picture of the back of the dress, so I don't know if there's a beautiful detail on the back to justify them or not... Either way though, I don't like this color on her.. BLAH

Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen

This was the first look I saw from the Oscars this year and I was very impressed. The combination is perfection and Salma looks AH-MAY-ZING. I don't need to say anything about this. A+++

Samantha Barks in Valentino

I had no idea who this was, apparently she's one of the starts of Les Miserables... which I am yet to see.
This look reminded me of Jennifer Lawrence at last year's Calvin Klein Oscars dress, dayum. This didn't make me go dayum, but the simplicity is appreciated. She does look amazing, but it's still kind of blah for the AH-SKRZ.

Halle Berry in Versace

Halle Halle Halle... why so square? I love thr right side of the photo, don't like the full gown on her. She looks too boxy-broke-out-of-the-80s esque...

Stacey Kebler in Naeem Khan

Hands down one of my favorite gowns of the night, if not my favorite. Perfection.

Jennifer Hudson in Roberto Cavalli

J-Hud looking lov-a-lee, and on trend with a long sleeved sequined gown by Roberto Cavalli. Her hair is a bit annoying, but it's still acceptable. I love the blue and the earrings.

Alicia Vikander in Elie Saab

Hello Alicia, I don't know who you are but it is lovely to meet you. Another long *cough three-quarter* sleeved gown with sheer+ sequins detailing. Not that I'm complaining.. The belt needs to be a smidge tighter to show off the curves...

Quvenzhane Wallis in Giorgio Armani

Apparently this little girl is the youngest person to get nominated for an Oscar, for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild. The nine year old wore a cute age-appropriate gown by Giorgio Armani with a dog purse which apparently was designed after her own doggie.

Helen Hunt in H&M

Never thought you'd see the day that an H&M gown would worn by an actress to the Oscars did you?
Well, that day has come. The gown is a pretty boring gown, but I like the color.

Olivia Munn in Marchesa

why is Olivia Munn at the Oscars? Oh well.. She looks amazing, love the gown. Now THIS is what one wears to the AH-SKRZ . I do wish that the bottom aprt of the gown was drapped better, but I think the way she's standing makes things look funny.

 Kerri Washington in Miu Miu

I can only think of one word to describe this and that is "CUTE".

Catherine Zeta Jones in Zuhair Murad

Mmmm I love Zuhair Murad. I drool  everyday when I drive past his atelier, he just makes the most beautiful gowns. The one worn by Zeta Jones is no exception. Brava

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

Jennifer Lawrence looking like a more beautiful version of Cinderella. WOWZA

Fan Bingbing in Marchesa

The color is SOOOO beautiful, I can't stop staring.
