Trending: Colorful tips

Everyone who's anyone has been spotted with this hairstyle, it's popped up in many runway shows and it's currently all the rage. At first I was a little iffy, because when I was growing up there was a bright color streaked hair trend and it was horrible. I really do shudder when I recall the horrible colorful streaks of the 90's/early 2000's. But this time around, the dye is a bit softer and the colors have a pastel tendency... it's not too punk rock-ish. It has a sort of washed out/ ombre effect, and not just dramatic streaks of color, which I'm really digging.

My hair is really fine, and I feel like I'm growing bald, so I've always been terrified of dyeing it and killing my hair (paranoid parrot, what can I say). As much as I really do like this trend, I think I'm going to stick to looking at pretty pictures on pinterest. Unless I get a sudden jolt of bravery and go through with it...  I'll keep you posted.

How do you guys feel about this trend?
Would you try it out??

I found this tutorial by Lauren Conrad if you have the guts (unlike me), to try it out at home.

  2. I love it!
I already had the dip and dye at 11 years old.
When I saw Beyoncé's pink hair tips in 'Bootylicious', I decided to paint mine red. :'D
I'm still a fan and would do it again in a heartbeat!

  3. I saw the ends in blond, when someone was a bit ginger, but in a light way, not sooo obvious... I quite liked it, but I think I wouldn't wear this trend...
