Trending: Brights and Neon

Along with pastels, neon is BIG this summer. As much as I love bright colors though, I feel like Lebanon has always been full of neon and brights in the summer. From bright eye hurting orange/pink nails to the bright yellow/green shoes and handbags that pop up in shoe stores across the country. So finding bright pieces won't be such a hard task if you're in Lebanon (yeay!). The trick would be wearing this trend without blinding people, and using what you currently have in your wardrobe. Trends like this come and go, so make sure that you don't spend too much on something that's IN this season, out the next. You want to incorporate the trend into your wardrobe, not vice versa.

Here's 5 things to keep in mind!

1) Nail polish: bright pinks, yellow, oranges, greens.. you name it. It's easy, not too crazy and VERY wallet friendly. My current favorite is "Basket Case" pink by Orly.

 2) Think gray. Just like camel/tan/nude was the perfect way to tone down color blocking last season, it's all about grays toning it down this season.

3) Play around with the shades of brightness of a single color. Pink dress? Add a neon pink clutch to your outfit, or neon nails.

4) Bright patterns! Odds are you'll be finding patterns that have lot's of brights in them.

5) Don't forget outwear: cardigans, blazers, scarves... they want to be all bright too! They're also perfect for days when you seriously don't want to think about "does this go with this". Wear all black (or grey) and just grab your bright jacket or scarf on your way out.

Some easy and affordable pieces to neon-ify your wardrobe.

How do you feel about this neon trend?
Love it or Hate it??

And those first boots, of course. They are so bad ass.
