Shoe Challenge #20: Girl in the green scarf

I appologize for the quality of the pictures, I really don't know what's up with my camera these days. I think the time has come for me to get a more professional camera and I've been doing some research but there's just SO many choices out there! If you guys have ANY suggestions for a good professional camera that's not too pricey, that would be great :)

WHAT: Gray ankle booties, Lila Moda
WHEN: Saturday November 5 , 2011
WHERE: Night of the Adeaters, UNESCO Palace
WITH: Coat: Cynthia Rowley / Scarf: Confessions of a Shopaholic (Gifted) / Jeans: Old Navy / Bag: Marc Jacobs / Earrings: H&M / Sweater (not in pic): Gifted

Last night I attended the Night of the Adeaters (Nuits Des Publivors) at the UNESCO Palace. It's this annual event where people pay money to watch around 4 to 5 hours of international commercials.  It's actually a bit more fun than I make it sound, there are so many hilarious commercials out there. The place is usually full of marketing, advertising, and art folks and students, so if you're in the field or studying to be in the field you must attend!
Two of my favorite commercials were Panda cheese and Mango. Very funny commercials and you actually remember the brand, a sign of good advertising. I'll stop with my advertising lesson now

I promised you guys an outfit with THE green scarf and here it is. It's a pretty boring outfit actually, but I had to get shoe saving so it'll have to do. I'm wearing a gray sweater underneath because it was NOVEMBER 5. If you get the relation then you are awesome :)

Remember that surprise I was talking about in the last post? The hint was Cyan, Magenta and Black?
Yea, hint number two: it is something you don't leave the house without and if you do, you feel like a lost puppy.
Did you guess what it is? No? Well stay tuned and get excited because it's HUGE!

Eid Mubarak to all of you who are celebrating this weekend :)

  14. I MUST KNOW WHERE you found this scarf. Where?! I apologise for the crazy, out of the blue request, here, but I can't find it and this one item has turned me into a Rebecca Bloomberg for the first time in my life. I am not a shopaholic; what I am is obsessed with getting my hands on that beautiful strand of magnificence.

  15. @Chingme My aunt actually got me the scarf, i think she found it somewhere in LA.. I tried to track them online, I know that Patricia Field was selling movie replicas and I think this is one of them. They're currently not available online though :( My only suggestion would be to stalk it on ebay? I wish I could be of more help... Good luck in your search! :)
