Red Carpet: Golden Globe Awards

Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier
Growing up, I was always in awe at the beauty of Zeta Jones on the red carpet. She's always wearing beautiful strapless gowns and she always looks AMAYZING on the red carpet. This Monique Lhuillier is a beautiful grown, I love the colour and the texture of the dress. It is a very classic "Catherine Zeta-Jones" dress.

Angelina Jolie in Versace
HALLELUJAH HAAAAALLELUJAH!!!! THIS IS WHAT THE RED CARPET IS ALL ABOUT!
I'm SO proud that Jolie didn't wear a boring black gown again, because this sparkly green one by Versace is absolutely beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite dresses of the night. Her hair looks amazing, the dramatic shoulder padding with that bateau neckline is absofreakinlutely flatteringly amazing.  I.love.this. shh.

Mila Kunis in Vera Wang
Green was one of the "it" colours of the night yesterday, and I loved every single green gown.
Mila Kunis looked like a moviestar in this Vera Wang dress. I love seeing her look like this, because when I usually think of Mila I think of her in her 70's get-up playing "Jackie" from "That 70's Show".
The hair is definitely nothing like Jackie's hair, it's in a beautiful and puffy up do.
I love the one shoulder strap and the texture of the dress, it almost reminds me of a Marchesa dress. I just have a slight problem with the bottom half of the dress, especially the fitting around her hips...something is just not right.

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
If discoballs were pretty gowns, they'd be this dress.
I love the simple elegant shape of the gown, and all the sparkle :)
This was voted best dressed by the Fashion Police on E!

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
My jaw little dropped when I saw this gown. Olivia Wilde looks like a PRINCESS :D
I love the gradual change in colour of this brown gown , and  the crystals on it.
Her hair is let loose, and although some might say that this dress screams "CINDERALLA" updo... I kinda like it down.
Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham
Who is that?
Ten bucks says that if you didn't read "Sandra Bullock" it would have taken you a couple of minutes to realize who it was!
Well, at least that's what happened with me :P
Blunt bangs for Sandra, I don't know how I feel about them. I've always wanted to randomly get bangs and not care about what people say.... I guess Sandra beat me to it :/
I have a feeling that's exactly what she wanted to do. She looks pretty anyway.
Megan Fox in Armani Prive
Drop dead gorgeous as Megan Fox is, she bores the crap out of me on the red carpet. She always seems to be sticking to the same type of dresses. It's great that she knows what looks good on her and she takes the safe way everytime. But sheesh, you're beautiful, you have a hot body, HAVE FUN FOR PRETTY CLOTHES' SAKE!

Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab
Scar Jo, hello lovely lady! Ryan Renolds (take your shirt off and) EAT YOUR HEART OUT!
I'm usually not into pale/nude dresses, but they were everywhere at the Golden Globes!
This is a beautiful lacey/tulle pale pale peach dress by Elie Saab (HOLA!). It is absolutely elegant.
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
I've never been fond of JLo's red carpet gowns, I feel like she tries too hard to be class (but I guess that's just me). This was definitely not the case with this beautiful white gown by Zuhair Murad (HOLA!). The see through stop with the beading and the sweetheart neckline is very elegant! I love it!!!
Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum
I've come to realize that I always look forward to see what Leighton Meester wears on the red carpet. She always tries new styles and different designers. (I'm so proud!)
She chose to wear this gown by Burberry Prorsum, which seems like a very odd choice...but then again that's her style. The dress has a very Victorian British meets "let's have a tea party in the garden" feel to it, I kinda like it!
Lea Michelle in Oscar De La Renta
Oscar De La Renta knows how to make perfect red carpet gowns. They're always fun, dramatic and gorgeous... no wonder Lea Michelle always chooses to wear De La Renta to award ceremonies.
This light pink ruffly gown is elegant and adorable at the same time. For being such a small girl, Lea Michelle really knows how to pull of big gowns!
Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs
AYAYAYAYAY!!!! When I first saw this picture, I couldn't tell who it was. Mainly because the loud and ugly bold print was too distracting. It's Heidi Klum, of course.
Dear Mrs. Seal,
just because you're a super model and married to Seal it doesn't mean you can come to the Golden Globes in your beach dress with that thing that's used to hold a curtain to one side as a belt. Your makeup and hair look hideous as well.
Thank you, my eyes.

Julianne Moore in Lanvin
This dress needs to be ironed, fitted better and that thing growing out of her shoulder needs to be deflated. After all that is done, you'll see how beautiful this pink gown actually is.
January Jones in Versace
There wasn't a lot of bright colours at the Golden Globes, and I'm glad January Jones wore a red dress.
With that said...I'm not so sure how I feel about this dress. On one hand, I love the colour, and the flapper feel of the dress, it definitely looks very different from all the rest of the gowns. But on the other hand, I really hate the cutouts and that bulging line that goes around under her bust to keep the laddies in check.
What do YOU think?? :)

Eva Longoria in Zac Posen
Eva Longoria looks beautiful in this black gown by Posen, when the picture was loading and I saw just the top part of the dress I didn't think it would have a train, I just thought it would flow down. Doesn't the top half look very businessy? Either way, it flows down to become a beautiful mermaid gown. I have nothing bad to say about this.I love it :)

  12. Hi, I came across your blog from Charlie's. BOth of you have a very lovely and cute blog..and I like very much.
I think we either have similar taste about fashion or we have close like-dislike actresses in mind. haha... I agree the most hilarious dress/whole look would be the beach wear to Heidi. (I like her better when she is a professional model... ^^)
